On the 30th!
On the 30th of August in week 4 the gardening club we planted some peas put some stakes in and made a big new garden. I can tell you it was so much awesome fun, lots of laughter and funny comments.
Week 3 in garden club
On the 24th of August week 3 the garden club team went and cleared the daffodils. The student council planted bulbs earlier a in the year. Most of the daffodils had finished flowering and the few that were left we picked for our teacher’s. Some of the older student’s turned the compost. Room 6 had started the compost bins last year but not much had happened to them since.
Week 2 garden club.
On the 16th of August week 2 the garden club came together and planned the garden we used the Tui NZ kids garden book we used the step and stairs style garden on page 29 and 28 then we got on with work.Some of us came and helped Miss Walker carry the Tui gardening stuff from her car then we went and started half of it. It was a lot of fun!
